Frichot & Frichot advise and represent clients in all phases of the acquisition, development and leasing of commercial property including the formation of limited partnerships, limited liability companies and joint ventures. 

We have represented landlords and tenants in the leasing of commercial real estate, office space and shopping centres. Our clients include owners, investors and developers holding portfolios of residential, commercial properties and trusts.

You will be tasked with taking care of all the legal aspects involving residential, commercial and industrial property in Western Australia, including but not limited to leasing, sales and purchasing.

As a lawyer in the commercial property field, the work could be divided into both the private and public sector, providing legal services for individuals, groups, developers, companies, governments or public bodies.

  • Commercial, Industrial and Retail Leasing
    • Taking instructions, drafting/reviewing and negotiating:
      • Agreements to Lease;
      • Lease agreements;
      • Sublease agreements;
      • Extensions of Lease;
      • Assignments of Lease;
      • Variations of Lease;
    • Advising landlords, tenants and guarantors regarding their lease arrangements;
    • Representing landlords, tenants or guarantors in disputes:
      • Issuing default and termination notices;
      • Debt recovery (e.g. arrears of rent)
      • SAT Disputes
  • Conveyancing
    • Providing advice to clients regarding property and business acquisitions and disposals;
    • Taking instructions, drafting/reviewing and negotiating:
      • Contracts for the sale or purchase of commercial, residential and industrial property;
      • Variations of Contract;
      • Off-the-plan Contracts;
      • Option Agreements;
      • Joint ventures.
    • Acting as the buyer or seller representative in the settlement of the sale or purchase of commercial, residential and industrial property and businesses.
    • Representing buyers or sellers in disputes.
